Descriptionalmost squarish scene of two young Spanish women (models), where artist has reversed the orientation of the scene from his painting (see 2022.7.1). The woman on the left sits in a more upright position with her head slightly tilted downward. She wears a white lace mantilla, a flounced skirt and a delicate white embroidered shawl. She is joined by another woman, to her right, wearing a dark dress and a matching black, flowered shawl. Her head is tilted to the left, and her eyes are closed. They sit indoors on a couch with hanging blankets in background.
