The tack consists of woven reigns, a bit and ornate straps to attach the piece around the horse’s head. The horse wears a similarly elaborate piece in bright, pastel colors. The woman wears a dark elk-tooth dress and carries a feathered fan. Geometrically patterned textiles in pastel colors hang from the horse’s back and neck and a blue elk-tooth dress is draped across its rear.
