DescriptionA Native American man is breaking a horse that he has roped. The horse, whose front feet are tied together, struggles to escape, leaning back and straining against the man, who also leans back with his entire body weight. In the background, three more Native American men on horseback chase after a herd of wild horses. They gallop through green, grassy plains in front of a blue-gray mountain range in the distance and a river valley to the right.
