DescriptionHung on the wall in a zig-zag pattern, Banner #4 is comprised of found silver-plated platters. Intricately deconstructed and reassembled, the platters are still recognizable, their etched or engraved details remain even though their forms have been manipulated into something new. Dings, scratches, and patination on the surface are all signs of their former life—each a part of the object’s history, a mark made by a previous owner or by previous use.Collections
