Description2 vertical, rectangular color prints with photographer's caption "The boat is a ‘PDQ’ racing speedboat built in 1904. P.D.Q. was understood as meaning ‘pretty damn quick.’ The boat was owned by A.K. Wikstrom family of Skaneateles. Built of oak and mahogany, the boat is 39.5’ long and believed to be the only survivor of that class when I photographed it.”; detail of front of wooden speedboat with steering wheel, dashboard with dials, and triangular front end, on Skaneateles Lake.Collections
