Description3 horizontal, rectangular color prints with photographer's caption “Rope made with natural manila fiber at the Columbian Rope Company factory in Auburn, New York. This plant built in 1902 and was largest rope factory in the world. Columbian Rope made rope and cordage at several factories for over 175 years. Rope is made of fibers that are twisted or braided together.
