DescriptionA Native American man stands atop a rocky outcropping, reaching to the sky to wave a bundle of burning sticks. He is accompanied by a man seated on the rock next to him and another man sitting on one of the three saddled horses below. The dark, gray smoke at the top of the scene floats off into the red, cloudy sky, mirroring a tiny white plume of smoke that emerges, on the left, from the dense forest across the river.
