Description(a) Round, red and blue basket with gold-colored, braided cords around center and bottom; (b) separate, matching, round lid with red and blue decorative bow on top and gold-colored, braided cords around rim; basket and lid composed of strips of acetate film with red and blue leaders, instead of natural material traditonally used in basket making; by this, artist intends to add layers of meaning / social commentary her fine art baskets; film woven into this basket is "Play and Cultural Continuity, Part 4: Montana Indian Children" (Campus Film Distributors Corporation, 1975).Collections
