DescriptionCylindrical ceramic jar with three "cartoon" scenes on sides; one side shows Pueblo boy (artist's father as a boy), reading comic book, entitled "TEWA TALES OF SUSPENSE;" second side show two Puebelo male warriors wearing white tunics with bare torsos - one at right, facing forward, holding spear and shield; one at left with back to viewer, holding bow and shield with quiver of arrows over one shoulder; third side shows two comic book superheroes - one at right, facing forward, with arms crossed, wearing yellow headware with "horns" coming out of sides; one at left, also facing forward, with hammer/mallet in one hand and wearing helmet headware with "wings" on sides; jar coil built with native clay, native clay slips; traditionally outdoor fired
